Reduce Excess Sugar Consumption

University of New South Wales, Australia, states that excessive sugar consumption can be bad for the brain and it could cause stress.

It is recommended to consume only 50 grams of sugar or 4 tablespoons per day. Unfortunately, many children, especially from the age of 9 to 16 years old has excessive sugar intake. It’s not known how much sugar goes into their body from the food and sweet drinks they consume every day.

The World Health Organization (WHO) also recommends no more than 10 percent of a person’s daily energy comes from added sugar.

Let’s start cutting sugar, Oatlovers! Every day, you can eat wheat raisin biscuits, pure fruit juice, and honey to control your sugar needs.
